DXL-1400 DXWall Controller
The Video Virtual Wall System
The DEXON DXL-1400 DXVideoVirtualWall is a distributed, network based graphics controller system. The DXL-1400 forms one X Window compatible super large video wall using the screens of several DXL-400 controllers. The wall displays UNIX X Window compatible graphics and multiple live video or RGB input windows. The video windows capture and visualize full motion PAL or NTSC sources while the RGB windows display several computer RGB input signals.
The customized DXL-1400 systems handle up to 256 projector screens and 128 live video or RGB inputs in Linux software environment.
Special Services
The DXL-1400 system applies optimized graphics drivers and video-handling programs to offer advanced multi-screen services as cursor magnification, accelerated orbiting and overlapping screen areas at projector borders. Special video sampling methods, still frame function and rubber bend zooming assure high quality video and RGB visualization.
The dual processor and the multiple 10/100/1000 Mbit network controller options can increase the processing and graphics performance of the system. The dual hot swappable power supply option improves system reliability.
Remote Operators
The control room environment needs interaction of networked operators for the wall control. Sophisticated software packages are offered for remote cursor control, remote keyboard handling and sharing the wall area for operator applications.
